One of the fun challenges in Interior Design is taking a negative design aspect and turning it into a positive design aspect. This Guest Bedroom project contained a recessed air return area that couldn't be covered. Key Associates collaborated with local craftsman Steve Huter of Giving Tree Cabinets to create a false cabinet and functional shelving space. This approach transformed a dark, black area by adding a bright focal point and storage space. What a lovely example of how to turn a negative into a positive!
