Many people are still fuzzy on what exactly it is that a Senior Move Manager does. At Key Associates, we strive to make a move as easy as possible for older adults. Our services include:
- assisting the client in organizing, sorting, and downsizing their items
- assistance in selecting the appropriate items to keep for the new home
- assuring that any special items are dispersed to other family members
- arranging the sale, donation, or gifting of unwanted items
- professional packing
- scheduling and overseeing the movers
- unpacking
- set-up and organization of the new home
- clean up and removal of all boxes and packing supplies
- purchasing items for the set-up of the new home (if desired)
- patience and compassionate care of the older adults
- removing the emotions of a family-executed move
